Mary Pat Ambrosino

President /CEO

Mary Pat Ambrosino began her nursing career over 30 years ago at an early intervention program in Harvey, Illinois, where she discovered her passion for human services and advocating for the equal rights, dignity, and independence people with disabilities deserve. Over the years, she has served in various nursing roles as well as a Therapeutic Clinic Director, Director of Development, Executive Director, and CEO.

As the current CEO of both CTF Illinois and Community Services Foundation, Mary Pat remains an advocate and change agent for the individuals we serve, and is always seeking innovative new ways to raise funds that can make a positive impact on people's lives, regardless of the complexity of their needs.

Melissa McDaniel

Executive Vice President

Melissa McDaniel has over two decades of experience at CTF Illinois. She began her career as a Direct Support Professional while attending the University of Illinois, where she graduated with honors in Health Planning and Administration. This early experience sparked a passion that led her to become a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and pursue a career in health services.

Throughout her career, Melissa has risen through the ranks at CTF, starting as a Residential Supervisor/QIDP and advancing to roles including Residential Administrator, CDS Administrator, and Vice President of South Suburban Operations. Today, she serves as Executive Vice President, overseeing all CILA and CDS operations, as well as Nursing, Training, and Behavior Support Services across Illinois.

Melissa's approach to services is driven by a commitment to foster creative programming and a focus on meeting the needs of those she supports. Her expertise has earned her roles on various DHS and IARF committees, and as a speaker at the National Association QIDP conference.

Certified in DOL Training, OIG Agency Liaison, Grants Administration, Collective Bargaining, and recognized as an IARF Future Leader, Melissa is a well-rounded professional. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with her family in Champaign, where she lives with her husband, their two sons, and family dog.

Mark Goryl

Director of Community Services
Mark Goryl has been with CTF Illinois for 10 years and currently serves as the Director of Community Employment and Vice President of RISE Packaging & Assembly co. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and a minor in International Business from the University of Illinois, Chicago. Throughout his career, Mark has successfully led the people with I/DD he supports to achieve significant goals both in vocation and beyond. Residing in the south suburbs of Chicago, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, as well as fishing and outdoor activities. Mark is inspired by the dedicated and driven team at CTF, who consistently provide innovative solutions to help the people we support fulfill their career goals.
Mark Goryl

Marcia Kennedy

Chief Human Resource Officer

Marcia Kennedy, joined CTF Illinois in February 2019 as Employee Relations Director and now serves as Chief Human Resource Officer. With over 30 years of HR management experience, including 25 years in human services, she coordinates and directs the organization's HR programs.

Marcia's responsibilities encompass labor and employee relations, personnel administration, compensation, benefits, policies/procedures, recruitment and retention, workers' compensation, and unemployment. As a leadership team member, she plays a key role in setting and achieving strategic and organizational goals. Marcia holds a degree in Business Administration from Southwest Baptist University.

Danielle Kane

Chief Finance Officer

Danielle Kane is the Chief Financial Officer at CTF Illinois. She is responsible for the overall financial management of the company, including accounting and financial planning, and analysis. She leads a dedicated team of problem solvers who provide back office support for all of CTF’s operations.

Danielle began her career in human services with Southwest Community Services in 2015. She officially joined the CTF team a year later when the companies merged. Prior to entering the nonprofit field, her work experience includes a variety of industries including government, healthcare, trucking, and manufacturing.

Danielle is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. She received her bachelor’s degree from Lewis University (Go Flyers!) and a Master’s of Science in Accounting from Governors State University (Go Jaguars!).
